New Brunswick Landscape and Coastal images

This website showcases my landscape and coastal photography. It focuses on the beautiful Atlantic Provinces and New Brunswick in particular. Recently I’ve volunteered to participate in the Canadian Veteran’s Portrait Project. I will be adding images to this page as I complete the portrait shoots.

I truly enjoy this type of photography and spending time outdoors. I have been taking pictures for over 45 years. Most of this time was taking pictures of my family and our travels. Upon retirement I became serious about photography, and I’ve looked at a wide range of photographic styles, from Landscape and Coastal scenes to food and stock photography. The prints being offering through this site express the beauty and diversity of the Atlantic Provinces. With this in mind I’ve set up this website to share my passion for local photography, the majority of photos featured on this site are taken within a few hours drive of my home. My prints are available to anyone who would like to bring a little bit of the East Coast into their home.

Each summer my family travel to Grand Manan for our annual vacation. I’ve included a new page dedicated to Grand Manan. Grand Manan is the largest of the Fundy Islands in the Bay of Fundy. It is also the primary island in the Grand Manan Archipelago. It has been called the “Queen of the Fundy Isles”.  It is a beautiful, peaceful vacation location, where the primary industry is the fisheries.

  1. Hello Ed, I meet you at the Canadian Senior Curling Championships in Fredericton in March. I was looking for any pictures that you may have taken of our team, Northern Ontario. I am scrapbooking the trip and would like a few more shots of the curling action. Thanks.

      • Well how are you? This is Claire originally from Dalhousie! I just came across the photographs and I thought it might be you!

      • I’m doing well, enjoying a life of retirement after 26 yrs in the military and 12 as a civilian. My Photography is one of the things that keep me busy. So I’m trying to place you, if I’m correct you were a student in the new high school. I see from your Facebook you have been doing some travelling. So where do you live now, since you said you were originally from Dalhousie?

      • not sure if you are getting my reply. I was a student of Grade 12. 1971 class. Claire Nichol. I now live in Miramichi since 1973. Worked as office Manager with NB government for 38 years. Now retired 12years. I just saw your pic and I thought that it was you. I lived on Adelaide street and I think you did as well back then.

      • Thanks for you for you update. You had me trying to picture and what class your in. As part of my third career I was in and out of Miramicihi as part of my job with XWAVE as a PM. Now I’m trying to remember who are your class.

      • But you don’t remember Claire Nichol! It was a long time ago! I remember you as a teacher.

      • Yes I remember you Claire. I will admit it took me a while. Hope your memories of me as a teacher were positive. I am going to dig through my old photos, I do believe I have some, pictures of you.

      • Great memories of you as a teacher. You were easy to talk to. You will have to share the pics. You didn’t actually teach me. I’m not sure what grades you taught.

      • I’m now searching for the photos that I took during my time in Dalhousie. Yes during my second year I lived on Adelaide St. I can’t remember the house number.

      • I lived on Adelaide extension in Grade 11 as did my friend Nancy Carrier. My parents then move to Charlo in my 12th Grade. You lived across the road on Adelaide if I remember correctly.
